What is Council Shared Equity?

A CHANCE TO BUY YOUR NEW HOME HOME IN THE AREA YOU LOVE:

Council Shared Equity (previously known as Discount Market Sale) aims to help low and middle income earners get onto the property ladder by giving them a chance to buy a new build property at a discounted price.

Council Shared Equity at Lots Waterside is only available to people living or working in Hammersmith and Fulham.

HOW THE PROCESS WORKS

1

To apply for a home through Council Shared Equity, you will need to register an account with the Hammersmith & Fulham Home Buy Team.

Visit www.lbhf.gov.uk/housing/finding-home/buying-home

If you already have a Home Buy account, keep your personal details up-to-date or your application may be rejected.

2

Once the Home Buy Team have validated your account, you will be issued a registration number to use against your application.

The registration number will allow you to log-in to the Home Buy portal and express an interest in a property when it becomes available.

Log-in www.handfhomebuy.org/choice/Login.aspx

3

Clarion Housing will notify you* when Lots Waterside Apartments are launching, and registered applicants will be able to express their interest in a home through the Home Buy portal.

3

Applications for Lots Waterside Apartments will close after two weeks of being posted on the H&F home buy website.

Please note, once applications are closed, you will not be able to apply for a property until the current applications have been processed, but you will still be able to register with the Home Buy team and look out for further announcements.

3

If you expressed your interest in a property, Clarion Housing will contact you directly to invite you to an open day at our Show Home, and put you in touch with a financial advisor.

4

Once you have been approved by our Financial Advisor, you will be able to apply for the home of your choice. Hammersmith & Fulham council will then allocate homes based on priority and housing need.

Future Release

If you have not been able to reserve a property in the first round, you may still be able to reserve in the future. Please keep an eye out for further releases.
